Teddy Bears
Here we focus on the final additional skills like colouring, jumping, kicking or catching a ball. These are skills that every child needs for a promising future...

I am Special...
"You are you & that is truer than true. There will never be someone more youer that you!" ~Dr. Suess
Every one of us is special in our own way no matter what, we are as unique as they come.
We teach the children to respect & love themselves just the way they are!
This also pertains to ther peers, they are explained to why we don't tease or bully our friends, and what consequinces it may have.
We always follow the Golden Rule:
“So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you..." ~ Matthew 7:12

Midline Crossing
Crossing the midline refers to the ability to reach across the midline of the body with the arms and legs crossing over to the opposite side.
For example; being able to draw a horizontal line across a page without having to switch hands in the middle, or sitting cross-legged on the floor.
Crossing the midline is an important developmental skill.
It is needed for reading & writing, for being able to reach towards your foot to put on a shoe or tie your laces with both hands.
Also it provides accuracy & balance when participating in various sports & many day-to-day activities, which we usually don't even notice.
Gross Motor Skills
The two halves of the body must not only learn to work in co-ordination with one and other, but also in gross motor actions like catching or kicking a ball.
Gross motor skills are tasks that utilize the gross or large muscles of the body like those in the arms, legs and core. These skills are important for major body movement such as walking, maintaining balance, coordination, jumping, and reaching. Children with poor gross motor development, may have difficulty with activities such as writing, sitting up in an alert position, sitting erect to watch classroom activity, and writing on a blackboard.
These are skills that we use every single day, yet we are not as aware of them and they can have an impact on the future if not learned and executed correctly.
